1. Services

Telephone Studios ("we," "us," or "our") provides professional video production services including but not limited to wedding cinematography, corporate video production, and event coverage. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and services.

2. Booking and Deposits

To secure our services for your event:

A signed contract is required to confirm your booking
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due upon signing to reserve your date
The remaining balance is due two (2) weeks prior to your event date
Dates are not held without a signed contract and deposit

3. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancellations made more than 90 days before the event: Deposit is non-refundable but may be applied to a future event
Cancellations made 30-90 days before the event: 50% of total contract value is due
Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event: 100% of total contract value is due
Date changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees

4. Event Day Coverage

We will provide professional videography services as outlined in your contract. We require a detailed timeline at least two weeks before your event. Access to key moments, venues, and subjects is essential for us to deliver the best possible results. We reserve the right to use our artistic judgment in capturing and editing your event.

5. Delivery and Turnaround

Standard delivery timelines are as follows:

Sneak peek/teaser: Within 2 weeks of your event
Full wedding films: 8-12 weeks from your event date
Corporate/event projects: Timeline discussed per project
Rush delivery is available for an additional fee

6. Copyright and Usage

Telephone Studios retains copyright of all images and video footage. Upon full payment, clients receive a personal, non-exclusive license to use the delivered materials for personal purposes. We reserve the right to use footage and images for portfolio, marketing, social media, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of your footage, our liability is limited to the total amount paid for services. We are not responsible for circumstances beyond our control, including equipment failure, weather conditions, venue restrictions, or interference by third parties. We strongly recommend backing up any footage we provide.

8. Client Conduct

We expect all clients and their guests to treat our team with respect and professionalism. We reserve the right to terminate services without refund if our team is subjected to harassment, abuse, or unsafe working conditions.

9. Travel

For events requiring travel beyond 50 miles from our studio location, travel fees will apply. These fees cover transportation, accommodation, and meals, and will be discussed and agreed upon before booking. For destination events, travel expenses must be paid in full before the event.

10. Revisions

Your package includes a reasonable number of revision requests. Additional revisions beyond the included amount may incur additional fees. Major changes to the edit structure or style after the first draft may be subject to additional charges.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
